[ENGLISH] On September 23rd, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the Selection Committee of the film that will represent Albania in the «Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences» 2026 held its meeting in the premises of the National Center of Cinematography.
After the ANCC’s open call, the following applications were received:
i. the film production house ON FILM PRODUCTION, with the feature film «Luna Park», directed by Florenc Papas;
ii. the film production house A.R.PRODUCTION, with the feature film «Emili», directed by Ajola Daja.
The Committee voted unanimously in favor of the film «Luna Park», presented by the film production house ON FILM PRODUCTION, as the representative of Albania, in the category of «International Feature Film at the 98th edition of the OSCAR® Awards».
ANCC wishes all their best to director Florenc Papas and to the producer Dritan Huqi.
[SHQIP] Më datë 23.09.2025, ora 10:00, në ambjentet e Qendrës Kombëtare të Kinematografisë, u mblodh Komisioni Përzgjedhës i filmit që do të përfaqësojë Shqipërinë në «Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences» 2026.
Pas thirrjes së hapur nga QKK, aplikuan:
i. shtëpia kinematografike ON FILM PRODUCTION, me filmin artistik me metrazh të gjatë «Luna Park», regjia Florenc Papas;
ii. shtëpia kinematografike A.R.PRODUCTION, me filmin artistik me metrazh të gjatë «Emili», regjia Ajola Daja.
Komisioni votoi unanimisht pro kandidaturës së paraqitur nga shtëpia kinematografike ON FILM PRODUCTION, me filmin «Luna Park», si përfaqësuese e Shqipërisë në kategorinë «International Feature Film», në edicionin e 98-të të çmimeve OSCAR®.
