Derë e Hapur me regji të Florenc Papas është një projekt filmik që ka filluar në verën e vitit 2015.

I mbështetur nga Qendra Kombëtare e Kinematografisë së Shqipërisë (QKK) në vitin 2016, skenari I këtij filmi u pranua në First Film First, ku regjisori Papas pati mundësi ta zhvillojë atë. Më pas projekti u zhvillua në programe të tjera si Midpoint, Priforum dhe Eastweek. Më pas në fillim të vitit 2017 realizoi nje pitch (prezantim) në Sofia Meetings.

Ky projekt gjithashtu ka mbështetjen e QKK Kosovë dhe shumë forumeve te tjera ballkanike dhe europiane si SEE cinema Network, StarMediaFilm Molodist Boat Meeting’s ku u vlerësua si projekti më i mirë.

Së fundmi në shtator të vitit 2017 “Dere e Hapur” fitoi mbështetjen financiare nga Eurimages, duke konfirmuar edhe njëherë kualitetin e këtij projekti ambicioz, nga ky institucion i rëndësishëm europian.

Agora një nga platformat më të rëndësishme që mbështet e promovon projekte filmike nga Greqia dhe rajoni në pjesën e postproduksionit që zhvillohet në Nëntor gjatë Festivalit të Selanikut ka përzgjedhur Derë e Hapur për ta paraqitur në festivalin e Kanës, dhe prezantuar përpara agjentëve të shitjeve, distributorëve dhe programuesve të festivaleve.

Në datën 14 Maj në ora 14:00 filmi do të shfaqet në Palais K në Kanë.

Florenc Papas’s Open Door is a project that started in the summer of 2015.

Supported by the National Film center of Albania in 2016, the screenplay was accepted at First Film First, where director Papas had the opportunity to develop it. Initially worked on the screenplay and in Belgrade, under Milcho Manchevski’s mentoring, five minutes of film were shot during this training to create a director’s mood.

Then at the beginning of 2017 at Sofia Meetings Lupin Film Italy showed interest to enter the co-production. This project also has the support of National film Center of Kosovo, SEE Cinema Network, StarMediaFilm Ukraine, Film Award Film & Video Macedonia and recently in September 2017 also received Eurimages support. T

he shooting ended in October 2017 and from that moment the first rough cut was presented to Distributors such as Memento and Heretic Outreach who have shown interest and are waiting the final draft of the film.

Agora is one of the most important platforms supporting and promoting film projects from Greece and the region in the post-production phase that takes place in November during the Thessaloniki Film Festival has selected Open Door to present it at the Cannes Festival and present it to sales agents, distributors and festival programmers. On May 14 at 14:00 the film will be screened at Palais K in Cannes.

Following last year’s successful pilot event, TIFF’s Agora will participate in “Goes to Cannes” of this year’s edition of Cannes’ Marché du Film by presenting 5 Works in Progress: fiction or documentary films at post-production stage from Greece or the surrounding area. These films will be showcased to the sales agents, distributors and programmers who attend this year’s Cannes’ Marché du Film, one of the world’s largest film markets, discovering up-and-coming directors from all over the world.
