The Albanian National Center of Cinematography informs that Eurimages will hold its 142nd Board of Management Meetingin Tirana, this week March 8-11.
The meeting will be hosted by the Albanian National Center of Cinematography, who represents Albania at Eurimages.
Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Established in 1989, it currently numbers 37 European member states. Albania joined Eurimages in 2009.
With an annual budget of €25 million Eurimages promotes the European audiovisual industry by providing financial support to feature films, animations and documentaries produced in Europe. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals established in different European countries. Eurimages also grants support for theatrical distribution and exhibition.
